From the Vault: Soon to Be Saint Carlo Acutis
On this Catholic Forum episode which originially aired in September 2023, Bob Krebs went on location to St. Elizabeth’s Church in Wilmington, Delaware, the sight of the recent visit of the Vatican International Exhibition Eucharistic Miracles, to talk with Dr. Bill and Mrs. Mary Ryckman. We learn about the amazing life and deep Eucharistic devotion of Blessed Carlo Acutis (May 3, 1991 – October 12, 2006), the many Eucharistic miracles that he documented, and the impact he had on so many in his short, holy life.
Blessed Carlo became Saint Carlo on September 7, 2025 – being canonized by Pope Leo XIV. St. Carlo’s feast day is celebrated by the Church on October 12th.
