On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a brief introduction, the Gospel for the Second Sunday of Easter, and a musical selection from the CD, “Catholic Treasures,” we will talk with photographer, Kristyn Brown, about “The Saints Project.” As a talented young photographer in Los Angeles, Kristyn longed to use her talent to glorify God. The Saints Project, that depicts modern day men, women and children as saints of the Church, was the answer to her prayers.

Catholic Forum, April 30, 2017 – Guest: Msgr. Peter Vaghi

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a brief introduction and the Gospel for the 3rd Sunday of Easter, we will hear a message from the Most Reverend W. Francis Malooly, Bishop of the Diocese of Wilmington that reflects on the Gospel and ties it in with the Diocese of Wilmington’s Annual Catholic Appeal. The Appeal begins in Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore on April 30th. 

After the bishop’s message, we will hear a cut from Marty Haugen’s “All Are Welcome” CD, and an interview with Msgr. Peter Vaghi, author of the new book, “Meeting God in the Upper Room.”

Catholic Forum, May 21, 2017 – Guest: Alex Handy

On this episode, after a brief introduction, the Gospel for the 6th Sunday of Easter, and a song from John Michael Talbot, we will talk to Saints Peter and Paul, Easton, Maryland parishioner, Mr. Alex Handy. Alex was a participant in a recent mission trip to San Marcos, Guatemala. Since 2003, the Diocese of Wilmington and the Diocese of San Marcos have been engaged in a Solidarity Partnership. Saints Peter and Paul have been very active in the partnership in recent years. Alex shares his impressions and reflections on his trip.

Kim’s husband immigrated from Syria over 20 years ago. Recently she and her husband helped settle other family members who came to Delmarva as refugees.
