Catholic Forum, Oct. 8, 2022 – Ministry for families suffering from miscarriages

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a news brief from Joe Owens of The Dialog, and a cut from the More Than 50 Most Loved Hymns CD, we will talk to Ms. Eileen Gaus from the Diocese of Wilmington Office for Marriage and Family Ministry/Respect Life, about Footprints, the Diocesan Miscarriage Ministry. October 15th has been designated as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.  Footprints will sponsor a Mass of Remembrance and Healing for Pregnancy and Infant Loss on October 14th. A special invitation is extended to parents, grandparents and siblings who grieve the death of children as a result of miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion or early infant death.

The book, titled “The Jesse Tree: An Advent Devotion,’ uses Christ’s family tree to help understand God’s plan for salvation. We will also learn a little about St. Agnus of Assisi, the Novermber 19th Saint of the Day.
