Catholic Forum, July 13, 2019 – Guests: Kelley Freebery & Pat Merritt

Catholic Forum, May 4, 2019 – Guests: K of C Vocations Essay Contest Winners

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a brief introduction, the Gospel for the Third Sunday of Easter, and a song from John Angotti’s “Testify!” CD, we will be joined by Mr. Felix Spitelle from the Delaware Knights of Columbus, and the 5th through 8th grade students who wrote the winning essays in the annual Delaware Knights of Columbus Jerry Dawson Memorial Vocations Essay Contest. Those young writers are Claire Gordon from Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Natalia Alfieri from St. Anthony of Padua School, Sonya Stankova from St. Elizabeth School, Will Sommers from St. Joseph on the Brandywine Religious Education Program, and Jenna Bozzo from Immaculate Heart of Mary School.

Catholic Forum, Oct. 19, 2019 – Guest: Bonnie Engstrom

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after an introduction, the Gospel for the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time, and a cut from John Michael Talbot’s “Table of Plenty” CD, we will talk with Bonnie Engstrom about her book, “61 Minutes to a Miracle: Fulton Sheen and a True Story of the Impossible.” Bonnie’s son, James, was stillborn. Through the intercession of Venerable Fulton Sheen and for the glory of God, he came back to life after being without a pulse for 61 minutes. In July, the Engstrom family miracle was approved by Pope Francis, paving the way for Sheen’s possible canonization. Also, we will learn about Francis Xavier Prefontaine, one of Father Rich Jasper’s Modern Day Witnesses.
