We look back at how the program started on April 9, 1939, how it was instrumental in the formation of the Catholic Broadcasters’ Association, and take a walk down memory lane with Gene who served as the Director of Communications for the Diocese of Wilmington from 1970 until his retirement in 2000. Catholic Forum is the longest-running (oldest) Catholic radio program in the country.

Fr. M. Price Oswalt, is heading up the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City’s efforts to have Fr. Stanley Rother beatified. In this interview that first aired on Catholic Forum in March of 2013, Father Oswalt talks about the life and death of this Oklahoma farm-boy, and parish priest. He was martyred in Guatemala during that country’s civil war in the 1980s.
