Share

On this episode of Catholic Forum, after a brief introduction and the Gospel for the Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, we pay tribute to Ms. A. Dorothy Arthur, one of the founders of this program. Dorothy was a college student in 1939 she was a part of a group of lay people who decided to create a Catholic radio program on WDEL-AM in Wilmington, Delaware. Dorothy was also key in creating the Catholic Broadcasting Association, which was later named UNDA-USA, and now operates under the name Catholic Academy of Communication Professionals. Dorothy passed away on June 17, 2016 at the age of 95. On this program, we present an interview with Dorothy that first aired on Catholic Forum in April 2014 as the program celebrated its 75th anniversary.
