June is “Stock the Pantry” month!

Throughout the month of June 2013, Catholic Charities is conducting our semiannual food drive to help those struggling in today’s economy. Donations of nonperishable food items and grocery store gift cards can be dropped off at Catholic Charities locations or at several parish churches.

New Counseling Services site opens in Salisbury MD

Counseling Services are now available at the Campus Ministry Building of Salisbury University, 1101 Camden Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801. This location is centrally located and convenient to public transportation.

Catholic Charities Counselor Jennifer Wheeler is available for appointments at both the Salisbury University location and at Catholic Charities Seton Center, 30632 Hampden Avenue, Princess Anne, MD. Appointments can be scheduled by calling Seton Center at 410-651-9608.

Catholic Charities now accepting motor vehicle donations

Catholic Charities is now accepting donations of cars and other motor vehicles to support its programs benefiting the most vulnerable in our communities. In addition to automobiles, we accept donated cars, trucks, boats, RVs and motorcycles in any condition. Donors can make the gift at no cost to them. Catholic Charities will accept all vehicle donations regardless of condition or registration status, arrange for vehicle pickup, if necessary, and provide the donor with an IRS tax receipt for their records.

The Thrift Center also accepts donations of new or gently used clothing, shoes, household goods, furniture, and working appliances.
